Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many records, but White County records are not held in one place. Superior Court and divorce records route through the Clerk of Court. Magistrate Court handles small civil claims, dispossessory actions, garnishments, and criminal warrant matters. Probate Court handles estates, guardianships, marriage licenses, vital-record services, firearms licenses, and misdemeanor traffic citations. The Sheriff's Office keeps arrest, booking, incident, accident, audio, video, and photo records through its own request channel.
White County's own open-records page warns that the general county form cannot be used for Sheriff's Office records, Superior Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court marriage licenses, District Attorney records, Clerk records, divorce records, or real estate records. That local split is why the site focuses on routing, record type, custodian, fee, and access limit instead of treating all public records as one search.
